Finally, the debate is over!

I really want to thank my dear teammates for their assuring my ability and working hard to prepare for the rebuttal. Without their hardwork, I could have been a lot more edgy and messed up all my points.

Thank you also for my classmates' support, by their contribution of ideas and words of encouragement!

2/3

Happy Birthday to Carman*~

Skipped double Physics for the competition. Never have I known that the set of procedures for early leave is so complicated.

Lisa and I arrived there quite early, so there’s sufficient time for practice. On noticing the pace of other competitors, I was somehow discouraged.

Lisa was the 3rd one to play the piece and I was the 26th. Before my turn, I saw many of the competitors’ performances, they were fluent and skillful, but quite a number of them played completely out of tune. They put pressure on me in either way.

When it was my turn to play the piece, I was being a little less anxious than I expected.

However, I really can’t say that my performance’s good… I think it should only be rated as fair. Anyway, my result has exceeded my expectation, though there’s still much room for improvement.

We still have to strive for the erhu exam at grade 4!

We had our mock debate. I am not the kind of person who can speak fluently in the debate without an organized script. I had to jot down what our opponents said continuously, and summarize the rebuttal of our side in response to the opposition's points. Completely a mess, and I kept asking Stephanie what to do next... Hope I'll not disappoint my classmate in the real one...

I've spent about $300 for 3 english books in the Book Exhibition this year. 2 fictions and 1 about physics. A bit expensive, but worthy! However, I doubt I can finish any 2 of them within this term.

It really took me a long time to read those barely recognizable words... Another one is simply too concise...

I felt an impulse to revise Maths at once. Regretfully, 12 hours is not nearly enough...

Anway, congratulations to Cherry! Besides, I'm looking forward to Jessica's piece of 'creative' writing.
